This college is included under UGC section 2(f) and 12(B) and located in rural area on the boundary of Satara and Sangli district. The college is catering to needs of the rural students with agricultural and worker background. All opportunities are provided for the students, who also inspire to become UG and PG, with the help of experienced faculty members having Ph.D., NET, SET qualification. In connection to this, Governing body in consultation with LMC started post graduate courses and we have research facilities in Botany and Zoology departments in 1988 such as M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. and started M.A. (Hindi) in 2010-11.

With the motto of Quality Education for Personality and Nationality, the Management adopted quality education for achieving all round development of students in context of new challenges in higher education with the progress of rural area by NSS, NCC activities, Gymnasium as well as by organizing seminars, workshops and campus interviews.

We all colleagues work together for the overall development of students.

I believe that students are the cause and sole purpose of existence thus team efforts with all my teaching and non-teaching colleagues try to aspire and strive of students for excellence in education. Placement is an important factor considered in this rural college. Companies like Kirloskar and ICICI Bank HR visited this college and 39 students are placed in these companies. In future we try our best to conduct our campus interviews in the college.

'I am sure and believes in pro, Its not me but always we'

I wish all the best for all our concerned and looking forward for positive interactions.
