I’m vary pleasured to present the issue (khitij) in the towards of rewords. The college has three streams i.e.Arts, Commerce & Science it provides education from 11th STD up to post graduation & PhD level. There are near about 1700 students taking education in this reputed college as well as 85 lecturers & 33 non teaching staff is working in this institute. We are very proud to inform that out of 85 lectures 17 lectures are PhD holders.
This college is in full swing that it provides post graduate courses and as well as opportunity for research work .As for as lecturers working in Arts stream are taking more interested in research work is a result of their research work college has received grants for various projects .For the social commitment college has started pre-recruitment training center .it has benefited students interested in armed force & those who studying in college in the surroundings.
Throughout this academic year our professors have participated in seminars, conferences& workshops organized at a different level. Our various departments (Botany, culturelel & educational) under college activity have arranged lectures of experts for under graduate students. It has really benefited our students. Quality education has been tradition of our college. Our students have won laurels in a various examinations held during this academic year. i.e Kum.Nalwade B.S B.A.Part-III got the university merit scholarship for Marathi ,Kum.Mulik S.A got the same scholarship for Hindi subject
As far as sports section is concern our sportsmen have won the honors in Zone, Inter-Zone & inter university competitions Kum.Tambwe S.S, Pawar M.U., Salunkhe Y.B. these sportsmen have done the best. Our sportsmen have participated in kabbaddi, Swimming, Archery,Tikonddo & Athletic games & have shown best performance. Our boy’s kabbaddi team & girl’s kabbaddi team have got the 3rd rank in satara divisional kabbaddi competitions.
College has N.S.S & N.C.C organizations various program’s activities are conducted by these organizations. These organizations have maintained good social relation with society & social commitment .various activates such as social work, Road safety campaign, youth day ,Save the girl child, tree plantation are conducted successfully.N.C.C cadets participated in national & divisional camps our shining cadets are patole V.J ,Hiware R.M ,Gaikwad S.V.our N.C.C cadets are joined Indian army this is indeed creditable for college. Various activates & programs are arranged for all round development of students in our college various completions such as elocution, storytelling, debate, lyric song, greeting card , essay , rangoli & G.K are arranged on account of honorable J.K .Bhosale (Appasaheb’s) b’day (26 Dec.) Most of students of participate in these competitions for their development these competitions very important. This year on behalf of gandi research foundation jalgaon “Gandhi vichar sanskar”Exam was arranged in our college.our students appeared for the examination & won grades in the examination. The objective is to spread gandhiji thought in the society. All activities conducted by the college shows the academic & social contribution to the society. All these things became possible only due to the full co-operation of professors, non-teaching staff & our students, I’m thankful to them I’m also thankful to all members of shetakari shikhan prasarak mandal for their continuous support specially J.K .Bhosale (Appasaheb’s) & I’m grate full to the authorities & non-teaching staff of jaywant college of engineering & jaywant polytechnic college shivnagar for their co-operations of I hope that all members ,staff ,students will co-operate to continue all these activities in our college in future & I’m sure that college will make progress./will flourish./will soar high.

To Highly Educate The Student In The Valley Of Krishna Shetkari Sakhar Karkhana, We Developed Krishna Mahavidyalya In 1978 Because Of Standard Quality Of Education The Number Of Students Perceiving Education Moved Above 1000 & Also Now This Institute Of Working Under Shivaji University, Kolhapur
Under Science Stream we have classes from 11th std to B.Sc. Since June 1985. We also started commerce stream from 11th std to B.com also Arts stream from 11th std to B.A.
In our college we have a good campus, Library, Study Rooms, Conference Hall, Computer Lab, Girls Hostel, Coffee House etc. We also have department of Zoology, Botany, M. Phil etc
This college or corporation do not accept any of donation for any course from any student.
Good result is an aim of our college & there are the student who deserve their position in the merit list of university H.S.C. (12th) exam result are also best where as B.Sc. 3rd year result is always 100%.
