About Department
|
Department of Botany was started in 1978 by B. Sc. I with only 36 students. In 1981 Botany subject was started for B. Sc. III at Principal level and up to date 233 students have been passed out with Botany Graduation. The department has research laboratory recognition of Shivaji University, Kolhapur from 2006. All the teaching faculty members have PG (M. Sc T&D)and M. Phil, Ph. D. guide recognition of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. 16 students completed M. Phil degree and 13 research scholars completed their Ph.D. degree through recognized PG center of Botany. |
